Remnant saved from the fire and a most pedigreed copy which was owned by the students of Yeshivas Chachmei Lublin in Shnaghai, including sacfed people who were thrown into the fire and Tzaddikim who were saved from it.

Many owner’s stamps and signatures indicating that the Sefer had passed through many hands, including "Avraham Eiger" the future Admor of Lublin Bnei Berak, "D. gr [Danziger?] Shmuel", "Asher Aharon Bernstein" of Lvov, "Eliezer ben Tziporah Reisel Feldberger", "Yisroel Wesisberg" of Azorakov, who donated the Sefer to the library of Yeshivas Chachmei Lublin, "Aharon […] of Azorakov" who collected the Sefer [from the donor], the person in charge of the library of Yeshivas Chachmei Lublin "Chaim Yisroel Yitzchak Weinacht" of Piotrkow the editor of the journal "Kerem Beis Shmuel" and "Elimelech Shitz" who took the book from the library of Yeshivas Chachmei Lublin in 1941, during the time when the Nazis destroyed the yeshiva and publicly burned its library in the city square to the sound of joyful music played by a military orchestra. For 20 hours the Seforim burned, in full view of the Jews of the town who were forced to attend the shocking ceremony.

The holy Rav Rabbi Avraham Landau of Chechnov (1784-1875) one of the important Poskim of his generation, who was a renowned Tzaddik and Gaon, knowledgeable in all subjects of the Torah, a disciple of the holy Rav Rabbi Fischel of Strikov. Rav, Posek and Rosh Yeshiva in Chechnov since 1820. Admor of Chechnov since 1866,.after the passing of the Rebbe of Ger the holy Rav author of Chidushei HaRim. His disciples included the holy Rav of Sochatchov author of Avnei Nezer, the holy Rav Rabbi Yechiel Meir Gustinin and the holy Ra Rabbi Elazar Hacohen of Poltosk author of Chidushei Maharach.
The holy Rav Rabbi Avraham Eiger of Lublin (1914-2002) a Talmid Chacham the son of the Tzaddik Rav Rabbi Elazar Eiger of Lublin the son the holy Rav Rabbi Alter Azriel Meir Eiger of Lublin. A student of Yeshivas Chachmei Lublin who, during World War II, fled from Vilna to Shanghai with one of the passports issued by the Righteous Gentile, the Japanese consul in Kovna, Chiune Sugihara. In 1949, he immigrated to Erezt Yisroel serving as the Admor of Lublin in Bnei Berak. Many came to see his Avodas Kodesh, with humility, modesty and great love of Yisroel. His son-in-law is Maran the Admor of Amshinov Shalita.
