The activity of the Geonim of Lithuania for the yeshivas and Torah world by means of Va’ad HaYeshivas, handwritten by the holy Gaon Rabbi Aharon Walkin author of the ‘Zekan Aharon’ Shut and the Rosh Yeshiva of the Pinsk Yeshiva. A letter that was sent to Maran the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Ozer of Vilna.
A postcard that was sent to the address of Maran the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Ozer Grodzinsky of Vilna, handwritten entirely by the great Gaon Rabbi Aharon Walkin author of ‘Zekan Aharon’ of Pinsk and with his signature, about funds that were raised by the collectors under the authority of Rabbi Aahron of Pinsk and that were to reach Va’ad HaYeshivas and Rabbi Chaim Ozer. It should be noted that the letter focuses solely on these matters and even the opening and ending words are scarce.
The Great Gaon Rabbi Aharon Walkin of Pinsk author of ‘Zekan Aharon’ (1865-1942) one of the greatest Poskim of Lithuania between the two world wars, a student of the Volozhin Yeshiva. Lighted Yisroel with his Torah and Psakim. The greatest rabbis sent him their halachic questions including the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Ozer of Vilna and the Imrei Emes of Gur. Was one of the founders of Agudas Yisroel in Lithuania and did a lot of good work for Am Yisroel as its member. the Rav of several cities until he became the Rav of Pinsk.
