The Gaon Rabbi Elazar ben Rabbi Aryeh Leib Löw (1758-1837), author of Shut ‘Shemen Roke’ach’ and additional Seforim. In 1775, when he was 17, he was appointed Rabbi and Abd of the Vidislev community and in 1778 was appointed the Rabbi of Filtz near Krakow. In ca. 1798 he was appointed Rabbi and Rosh Yeshiva in Tritsh, Moravia and since 1813 was the Rabbi of Rashenberg, Polsen and Galato in Bohamia. In 1815, he returned to Tritsh; in 1821, was the Rabbi of Mimiklash, Hungary and in 1830 the Rabbi of Abai-Santov
The holy Rav Rabbi Naftali Zvi Horowitz (1883-1934) Admor and Domatz of Deyzh in Northern Transylvania, the son of the renowned philanthropist and Chassid Rabbi Yosef Horowitz of Krass, a descendant of the holy Rav Rabbi Naftali of Ropshitz. Was the son-in-law of Rabbi Moshe Paneth Av Beis Din of Deyzh.
Rabbi Elisha Horowitz, Maggid Meisharim and Rosh yeshiva of Deyzh, the son of the holy Rav Rabbi Naftali Zvi Horowitz and the grandson of Rabbi Moshe Paneth Av Beis Din of Deyzh. The son-in-law of the renowned Gaon Rabbi Avraham Zvi Ginzler, Domatz in Homno. Remnants of hi smany innovations were published in Kuntres "Zichron Elisha" which was printed at the end of Sefer "Zichron Yaakov". During the Holocaust, he was deported to Auschwitz and from there to forced labor at the Mauthausen camp. Even there the Rav continued to teach Gemora and Mefarshim. The Rav perished there in Tishrei 1944.
