Maran the Tzaddik Gaon the Chofetz Chaim pleads and requests in a letter ‘that they go to the Western Wall to pour pleas and petitions on our troubles’ and with warm blessings.
Letter by Maran the Chofetz Chaim written on his behalf and at his request on his personal official stationery by the secretary of his yeshiva Rabbi Baruch Mordechai Sanderowitz asking the important rabbinic Rabbi David Potash of Tel Aviv to send his acquaintances to the Western Wall to pray to Hashem Yisborach for our troubles and the length of our exile. The letter was written by the secretary on his behalf since the Chofetz Chaim found it difficult to write the letter himself.
He encloses an important article by Maran the Tzaddik Gaon the Grim Shalita who asked it to be sent and blesses on behalf of the Chofetz Chaim ‘I bless his honor with a year of life, blessing and success in all his affairs and may his eyes see the salvation of Yisroel and the rising of the Torah’. He adds personal regards from the Admor the Tzaddik Gaon and his household.
