The onset of the discovery of the Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Yehuda Ze’ev Leibowitz! Letters of regards by the Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Meir Segal Landau to Rabbi Leibowitz in which he pleads with him to come to him for the High Holidays and blesses him with warm blessings. 1975.

The Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Yehuda Ze’ev Leibowitz ben Golda, one of the greatest Kabbalists and hidden Tzaddikim of the recent generation, used to stay at the homes of Chassidim and Rabbis in Tel Aviv, who would greatly honor him. In later life, he moved to Bnei Berak where he became famed for his blessings and the wonders he worked.
The first rabbi who recognized the Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Yehuda Ze’ev’s rare personality was the Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Meid Landau of Drohobych- Antwerp, who was a close disciple of Maran the Chazon Ish, the Beis Yisroel of Ger and the Imrei Chaim of Vizhnitz.

This warm letter of regards is one of the first letters that was sent to Rabbi Leibowitz with a request to reside in the house of Chassidim and rabbis.
The letter contains a blessing for good health by which Rabbi Landau blesses Rabbi Leibowitz that his neck turn from "צוואר" (neck) to "אוצר" (treasure).

[1] postcard handwritten entirely and signed by Rabbi Meir Landau. 14X10 cm. Postmark and postage stamps. Tishrei 1975. Very good condition.
