Wonderful letter, handwritten entirely by the Kabblist Gaon the Tzaddik Rabbi Sraya Davlitzki, sent to the great Gaon Rabbi Moshe Yehuda Leib Landau who was chosen to succeed his father the great Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Landau who had passed away.
The Gaon Rabbi Davlitzki writes the letter emphasizing twice-over that it is written ‘on behalf of all members of our Minyan, the Vatikin Minyan of the Tiferes Zion Yeshiva’, a famed and important Minyan he had established with halachic methods regarding the sunrise.
He warmly blesses Rabbi Landau ‘May your sons replace your forefathers’.
