Pedigreed copy! Sefer Torei Zahav – on the laws of interest, by the famed holy Rav Rabbi Mordechai Dov of Horonsteipel, published by the author’s son the holy Rav Rabbi Ben Zion Yehuda Leib. First edition. Chaim Zukerman Press, Jerusalem, 1936.

The copy of the holy Admor of Tiszaszalka.

75 [i.e. 93] leaves, 30 cm. With the text [Shulchan Aruch, Choshen Mishpat, Siman 159-172]. Ownership stamps of the grandsons of the Tzaddik Gaon the Admor of Tiszaszalka. 

The holy Rav Rabbi Mordechai Dov Twersky of Horonsteipel [1840-1903] one of the Tzaddikim of the generation. The father of the Horonsteipel dynasty and the son-in-law of the holy Rav Maran the Divrei Chaim of Sanz. Was the grandson and successor of the holy Rav Rabbi Yaakov of Tsherkos the son of the holy Rav the Maggid of Chernobyl and the son-in-law of the Mitteler Rebbe of Lubavitch. 

The Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Yoel Zvi Roth Av Beis Din of Tiszaszalka. Was the grandson who was named after the holy Gaon Rabbi Yoel Zvi author of Shut Beis HaYotzer. Married the daughter of the holy Rav Rabbi Chaim Shlomo – the ‘Shemu’ah Tovah’ of Koson the son of the holy Rav the Bnei Shileshim. Rabbi Yoel Zvi was famed for his great knowledge of the Bavli and the Yerushalmi, Safra, Sifri and Midrashim as well as of the Ari’s writings.
