Levushei Serad, Dinie Shmutas UShvuras Atzamos, Dinei Re’ah and Dinim Melukasim belonging to Yoreh Deah, authored by the holy Rav Rabbi David Shlomo Eibeschutz author of the Arvei Nachal. [Russia-Poland, ca. 1830].

[1], 102 leaves. 37 cm. With the approbation of Rabbi David Av Beis Din of Harobashov (Tamuz, 1819). On the title page, an illsutration of two crowned lions facing each other. See Stefansky Chassidus 259. Printed leaf-after-leaf after the Harobashov 1819 edition. With the signature "Shlomo Friedman" and stamp of Rabbi Asher Anshil Weiss. 

The holy Rav Rabbi David Shlomo Eibeschutz (1755-1813) author of the Arvei Nachal. One of the greatest Admorim of his generation. Was renowned as an Iluy, even as a youth. Authored the Megilas Setarim on matters of Mussar and a commentary on the first chapter of Tehillim and Sefer Messos kol HaMitablim on Megilas Eicha. Served as Rav in Chroskov, Bodzanov and Soroka. Was a disciple of the holy Rav Rabbi Yechiel Michl of Zlotchov, the holy Rav Rabbi Ze’ev Wolf of Tsharni Ostroh and the holy Rav Rabbi Meshulam Feibish of Zabrizh author of Yosher Divrei Emes.

The renowned Gaon Rav Asher Anshil Weiss (1882-1944) ben Rabbi Moshe Shlomo, a disciple of the Arugas HaBosem and the Sheves Sofer. Served as Av Beis Din of the Siladi-Nadipalo community in Transylvania. Was fluent in both Talmudim, the Bavli and Yerushalmi, and in the four parts of the Shulchan Aruch. In his youth, served as Ram in Ohl. His innovations from his old age were lost during the Holocaust. Remnants of his innovations were published in the Seforim "Shemen LaMincha al Sugyos HaShas" (1969) and "Shemen LaMincha – Srudei Drush VeRemazim al HaTorah" (1989). Perish in Sivan 1944 in Auschwitz.
