Approbations by Rabbi levi Yitzchak of Berditchev, the holy Rav Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Heschil of Opatow, the holy Rav Rabbi Chaim Barash [Tirer of Chernowitz] and the holy Rav Rabbi Aryeh Yehuda Leib [Halevi Segal Horowitz of Voltshisk]. Notation on the title page and several handwritten comments.


The holy Rav Rabbi David Shlomo Eibeschutz (1755-1813) author of the Arvei Nachal. One of the greatest Admorim of his generation. Was renowned as an Iluy, even as a youth. Authored the Megilas Setarim on matters of Mussar and a commentary on the first chapter of Tehillim and Sefer Messos kol HaMitablim on Megilas Eicha. Served as Rav in Chroskov, Bodzanov and Soroka. Was a disciple of the holy Rav Rabbi Yechiel Michl of Zlotchov, the holy Rav Rabbi Ze’ev Wolf of Tsharni Ostroh and the holy Rav Rabbi Meshulam Feibish of Zabrizh author of Yosher Divrei Emes.

New binding with gilt lettering, stains, tears and some gluing, fair-good condition.
