First edition, which was published during the life of the author. Prague 1827. Many ownership signatures, among them the signature of Rabbi Chaim Nosson Dembintzer.

Verifying all signatures requires further research.
Rabbi Chaim Nosson Dembitzer, Rav of Krakow (1820-1892), son of Rabbi Yekusial Zalman. When still young was ordinated for Rabbanut by Rabbi Shlomo Kluger, Rabbi Dovber Meizlish, and Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch Chayot, and was appointed as Moreh Tzedek-dayan in Krakow. From 1849 he served as dayan in the Beit Din of Krakow, and after 6 years was appointed as Rav in his city. Was renowned as an expert on the history of Jewish communities and the biography of the great Jewish sages. Authored many sefarim: ‘Meginei Eretz Yisrarel’ (1852), brochure ‘Divrei Chen’ (1882), Sefer Haravy"ah with annotation ‘Livyat Chein’ (1852), ‘Toraht Chen’ (1896), ‘Cllilat Yofi’ (1888, 1893), and ‘Michtavei Bikoret’ (1892). The sefer ‘Toldot Maharchan’ on his biography, was published in the year of his passing.
Rabbi David Shlomo ben Rabbi Yitzchak Margulies (1822-1890), disciple of the Holy Rabbi Avraham of Ciechanów and brother-in-law of Moron the Divrei Chaim from his second marriage. In his first marriage was the son-in-law of the great Gaon Maharal Tzinz. He served as Rav in many places among them Działoszyn, Łuków, Nowy Korczyn, Kalvaria (city in southwestern Lithuania), and Ostrów Mazowiecka. Author of sefer ‘Chidushei Maharshedam’ on Shas and Rambam (1877, 1882). His tombstone was revealed in the year 2020 in Krakow.
