The personal copy of the philanthropist Rabbi Reuven Yisroel Halevi Frankel, a Kock Chassid, the son-in-law of the philanthropist Rabbi Yehuda Leib Kushmirak (one of the rich of Poland who donated a hundred thousand Rubles for buying land from the Ottomans by the Company for Purchasing the Land of Jericho"). Rabbi Reuven Yisroel was famed for his large library which contained many rare Sifrei Kodesh. His son-in-law was the Gaon Rabbi Ze’ev Moses the Rav of Kalisch (rabbi Velvel Kalischer). His stamp and ownership notation from 1894 appear on the first leaf.
