Tikkun Leil Shavu’os – Seder Leil Shavu’os, with additions authored by the Divine kabbalist Rabbi Moshe Zacuto [the Remez] which was first published with a Hebrew translation of the Pizmonim. First edition. Mantova, 1783.
The Tikkun was originally formulated by Rabbeinu the Ari and the holy Shelah, Torah, Nevi’im, Ketuvim and Pirkei Mishnah to which were added lengthy Pizmonim authored by the Kabbalist the holy Gaon Rabbi Moshe Zacuto, the first of them titled ‘Or HaGanuz’ praising the Torah and is said after the study of the bible, before the study of the Mishnayos. Appearing after the Tikkun is an additional Akdamos-style Pizmon in Aramaic, with its Hebrew translation which was published here for the first time. The translator is unknown; yet his translation demonstrates his effort to translate in the most precise manner.
It is a known Segulah among Kabbalists to say the Tikkun Leil Shavu’os devotedly and with emotion.
