The Slavuta printery was established by the holy Rav Rabbi Moshe Shapiro of Slavuta the son of the holy Rav Rabbi Pinchas of Koretz. It was famed for the quality of its Seforim, which were most rare and of high-quality. Renowned is the importance of the sanctity of its Seforim, which were prepared for printing by well-known and esteemed personages. Moreover, their printing was done in extreme purity and holiness, even the printing blocks being immersed in a Mikveh before being used. It is common knowledge by Tzaddikim that possessing a book that was printed in Zhitomir is a Segulah for an abundance of blessing and success.
