Kvitl – Pitka Derachamei – with all the names of the Vizhnitz Chassidim of the Holy Land that was sent to the holy Rav author of the Havat Ysrael of Vizhnitz.

The large Kvitl contains dozens of names and some of the requests. Most of the names were written in fine script by a designated scribe and Gabai; others were written in a different script, apparently by their owners.

This is a special and rare document, an important chapter in the history of the Vizhnitz Chassidim of the Holy Land, Jerusalem and the Galilee. The names include names of important Chassidim of pedigreed families.

The names also include the name of a Chassid and his family who were living in the settlement of Mishmar HaYarden – the Chassid Rabbi Shlomo Levi Grossman, the son of the renowned Chassid Rabbi Yitzchak David Grossman. Rabbi Shlomo Levi was one of the founders of Mishmar HaYarden who was known as a pious Chassid. His brother was Rabbi Zalman Grossman, a famed Karlin Chassid of Jerusalem.
