With a foreword by his grandson Maran the holy Rav the Sefas Emes of Ger. Printed at the end of the Sefer are innovations on the tractates of the Shas. Handwritten ownership notation. The holy Rav Rabbi Chanoch Henich of Alexander, the successor of the Chidushei HaRim of Ger, pleaded with his grandson the future holy Rav author of the Sefas Emes to hurry and print the Sefer Shut HaRim by his grandfather to stop the pandemic which happened at the time.
The holy Rav Rabbi Yitzchak Meir of Ger [1799-1867] a disciple of the Maggid of Kozhnitz, Rabbi Bunim of Pshischa and Rabbi Menachem Mendel the Saraf of Kock. The founder of the Ger Chassidus. A renowned Gaon who attracted thousands of Chassidim from all over Poland. His Divrei Torah are studied generation after generation.
