Extremely rare signature handwritten by the Divine Kabbalist Rabbi Avraham Naftali Hirsch Halevi Revatz Spitz. Tishrei [1689].
A segment of a protocol of the community and on its back the confirmation and signature of Rabbi Yehuda ben Rabbi Moshe of Helishoi (Iyar, 1689) and of Rabbi Avraham Naftali Hirsch Halevi Revatz Spitz. (Tishrei, 1689).
[2] pp, on the upper part of a leaf which is cut at its width, 19X9 cm. On one of its sides, a protocol of a meeting of the "leaders of the community" who discussed and determined the tax assessment and on the other side, the confirmation and signture of the aboves rabbis.
The Gaon Rabbi Avraham Naftali Hirsch Halevi Revatz Spitz – the brother-in-law and disciple of Rabbi Yehuda ben Rabbi Nissan Av Beis Din of Kalisch author of Sefer Beis Yehuda. Rabbi Avraham Naftali Hirsch served as Av Beis Din and Ram of the Dreznitz and Rostitz communities, as Rosh Av Beis Din of the Nikolsburg and as A Beis Din and Ram of Worms. Author of Sefer Maleh Ratzon on the Shas. Was one of the rabbis who signed in 1701 the appointment of Rabbi David Oppenheim as the Rav of Mehrin. Was a renowned Mohel and one of the greatest Kabbalists of his generation. He studied Yichudim and practical Kabbalah (see enclosed material about his participation in 1696 in a Tikkun of a Dybbuk in the Nikolsburg community).
The lower part of the leaf is missing, stains, professionally restored blemishes to the sides of the leaf affecting the text, fair condition.
