Appearing on the upper part of the title page is the pure handwritten signature of the Imrei Shefer and the words ‘חנני ד’ בזה הק’ שמואל פרענקיל’. The signature is in pencil and above it an ink signature that was cut in the printing process. After the first signature was trimmed, he added a second with pencil.
The Tzaddikim of the generation appreciated and admired him. Maran, the Yitav Lev of Siget wrote on his tombstone: ‘The source of wisdom … was inspired by Hashem in the Nigleh and Nistar … who has all the delightful treasures to shower good on Bnei Yisroel’, praising his blessings and Avodah for the salvation of Yisroel.
On one of the pages of the Sefer several words were erased and others were added with pen. Possibly, the correction was made by the Imrei Shefer.
