Letter by Rabbi Yosef Wertheim of Bender Av Beis Din of Harobashov to the Jewish Agency with a request for a certificate for Avraham Yehuda Friedman who was exiled to Nobduras. Harobashov, 1933. 

"His entire hope and that of his parents here that his rescue will come by his immigration to Eretz Yisroel", a repeated appeal by Rabbi Yosef Wertheim of Bender to the Jewish Agency to abide by their commitment to take care of a visa for Mr. Avraham Friedman who yearns to immigrate to Eretz Yisroel. Harobashov, 1933.

Rabbi Yosef Wetheim of Bender (1881-1946) the son of Rabbi Shimon Shlomo of Bender, a descendant of Rabbi Menachem Nachum of Chernobyl author of "Meor Enayim" and the son-in-law of Rabbi Eliezer of Ostila. Served as Rav in Ostila, Harobashov and Bender. Was a member of the union of rabbis of Poland and assisted in supporting the Eretz Yisroel Fund of Hamizrachi. The holy Rav Rabbi Moshe of Boyan wrote him a letter in 1936, greatly praising him. At the end of his days, he immigrated to Eretz Yisroel and was a Moreh Tzeddek in Jerusalem. The "Ohel Yosef" synagogue of Jerusalem was established in his memory by his son-in-law, Rabbi Shimon Efrati, his successor as Rav of Bender, Rav of She’eris Hapleta in Warsaw and the manager of the national Kashrus department of the Chief Rabbinate of Eretz Yisroel. 

Fold marks, tears along the fold lines, blemishes and wear to the edges of the leaf, not significantly affecting the text. Fair-good condition.
