Rabbi Shimon Sofer (1820-1883) the son of Rabbeinu the Chasam Sofer. Served as Rav of Mattersdorf and later as the Rav of Krakow for twenty two years, until his passing. Was admired by Gedolei Hador and authored his renowned Sefer Michtav Sofer.
Some of the letters are blemished due to the acidity of the ink, fair condition.
