‘Belongs to the Gaon … the lion of the group’! Two Sifrei Chasidus bound together which had belonged to the holy Gaon, one of the greatest Poskim of his generation Rabbi Amram Blum author of the Beis She’arim Shut. 

Sefer Divrei Shmuel, Kitvei Koddesh by the holy Rav Rabbi Shmuel Shmelkeh of Nikolsburg which were concealed and hidden among the writings of the holy Maggid of Kozhnitz and were [rinted by the Maggid’s grandson Rabbi Moshe Cohen the son-in-law of teh Tzaddik Rav Rabbi Yissacher the son of the holy Rav Rabbi Moshe of Kozhnitz. 1868. Throughout the Sefer, Chassidic comments in pencil and varied notations. 

Printed and bound with" Keddushas Levi on Pirkei Avos. 

And bound with: Divrei Emes by the holy Rav the Chozeh of Lublin. Lvov, 1864 edition. 

This copy had belonged for many years to the Gaon Rabbi Amram Blum author of Beis She’arim Shut, a Gaon Posek.

On the flyleaf, one of the disciples wrote ‘Belongs to the leading Gaon Butzina Kaddisha … Maran Rabbi Amram Blum the Av Beis Din of Hust and the vicinity’. In addition, the Gaon Rabbi Moshe Nachum Blum, the Beis She’arim’s son, wrote ‘Belongs to the Gaon … the lion of the group … Maran Amram Shalita the Av Beis Din of Apollo’ and signed his name ‘Moshe Nachum Blum Dayan and Rav of Grosswardein’. Appearing are also many signatures of other disciples: Yitzchak Yaakov Steinfeld, Shlomo Zalman Teitelbaum, Yitzchak Yonah Weinstock. The Gaon of Grosswardein signed his name on the flyleaf as well. There is also the signature of Chaim Yeshaya Blum. 

The great Gaon Rabbi Amram Blum author of the Beis She’arim Shut [passed away in 1907] one of the Poskim of the generation. Maran the holy Rav of Liska wrote of him in his youth: Yedid Hashem, Tzaddik Yessod Olam. Maran the holy Rav the Yitzav Lev hreatly appreciated him and corresponded with him on Halacha. Maran the Maharam Schick, in his old age, sent him all his questions. The Divrei Chaim of Sanz prayed for him and greatly appreciated him. 

50 leaves, 48 leaves. Wear. Stains. Original binding, partly blemished. Few moth perforations. Good condition.
