Sefer Even Ozer – Zholkva 1770 edition, with glosses handwritten by the great Gaon Rabbi Baruch Frankel Te’omim of Leipnik author of the Baruch Ta’am.
Sefer Even Ozer, halachic innovations on the Shas authored by the Gaon Rabbo Ozer ben Rabbi Meir Av Beis Din of Klimantov, Zholkva 1770. With six lengthy glosses handwritten by the holy Gaon the Baruch Ta’am. One of them is very long, written with ink that has slightly faded yet is still readable; some words are missing.
Additional, varied stamps and signatures: ‘Yehuda Halevi Levinsohn’, ‘David ben Rabbi Yehuda Leib’ and stamp of the library of Yeshivas Chachmei Lublin.
The revered Gaon, Rabbeinu the Baruch Ta’am of Leipnik, Posek Hora’ah, the in-law of Maran the holy Rav the Divrei Chaim of Sanz and the grandfather of the greatest Tzaddikim of Sanz including Maran the Sefas Emes and the dynasty of the Tzaddikim of Ger.
Brittle, stained leaves. Water damage. Wear. Poor cutting during the printing, with missing headings. Small perforation to the last leaf. The last leaf is missing.
