The Holy Gaon Rabbi Aharon Moshe "MiGeza Zvi" of Brod [1775-1858] a disciple of the holy Rabbi the Chozeh of Lublin, the Saraf of Strelisk and the Holy Rabbi Moshe Zvi of Svaran. was considered the founder of the Chassidic Yishuv in the Holy Land. Was born in 1775 to his father Rabbi Shaul MiGeza Rashi HaKadosh. was the son-in-law of Rabbi Mordechai Horowitz the publisher of the book "Chibat Yerushalayim". Immigrated to the Land of Israel in 1839 and lived in Jerusalem. He headed the Kollel of the Chassidim of Jerusalem. Day and night he used to mourn the destruction of Jerusalem. His Rav the Holy Rabbi the Chozeh of Lublin promised him that he will not be taken from this world before Tikkun HaGilgulim. After his passing, his last will and testament was published and is recalled with awesome respect to this day.
