A special letter handwritten by Maran the Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Halevi Wosner author of Sheves Halevi and the rabbis of Bnei Beral, against a journal that was published in Bnei Beral and the struggle to defend the city. Bnei Berak, 1992.
In the letter bearing the date ‘מה טובו אהליך’, Tamuz 1992, it is written that several stores in Bnei Berak are selling the journal ‘Panim Chadashos’ which is known for humiliating Talmidei Chachamim and Tzaddikim. Handwritten entirely by Maran the author of Sheves Halevi and with his signature. Uncommonly, the letter does not bear the inscription ‘מצפה לרחמי ה’.
Important rabbis of Bnei Berak neighborhoods support him: the Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zilberstein the Rav of the Ger Chassidim, the Gaon Rabbi Nissim Kerlitz Gaon Av Beis Din of Ramas Aharon and Rosh Beis HaDin who adds several words, the Gaon Rabbi Yitzchal Zilberstein Gaon Av Beis Din of Ramas Elchanan who also adds to his Rav’s words and the Gaon Rabbi Nosson Gestetner the Rav of Kiryas Agudas Yisroel and author of Lehoros Nassan.
