Letter handwritten entirely by the great Gaon Rabbi Chaim Shmuelovich Rosh Yeshivas Mir, dealing with charity matters and referring to the Yirah of the Gaon Rabbi Aryeh Finkel of Mir. Jerusalem, 1975.
A letter written to the "famed activist Rabbi Menachem Porush Shalita" thanking him for the money he had sent to Rabbi Chaim Shmuelovich to be given to students of the Mir yeshiva.
Rabbi Chaim thanks him for the money yet notes that he is incapable of taking responsibility for distributing the money. Therefore, he has assigned this duty to the Gaon Rabbi Aryeh Finkel, ‘the great Rav Rabbi Aryeh Finkel Shalita who can be trusted that all his deeds are Leshem Shamayim and who knows who needs and is worthy of the money…’.
The handwritten letter is hand-signed by the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Shmuelovich and is with his stamp.
[1] official stationery of the yeshiva. 20X17 cm. Filing perforations. Minor fold marks. Very good condition.
