[1], 50, 52-63, 66-141; 36, 45 leaves, 29 cm. Mispagination. Incomplete copy: the leaf of the foreword and the last 8 leaves are missing. Published after the Lublin-Krakow 1627-1632 edition, with a variation in the ordering of the tractates. On the top of the pages: Chidushei Maharash.
The great Rav Rabbi Chaim Yosef David Azulai the Chida [1724-1806] which is also known in Chassidic communities as ‘The Azulai’. An admired holy Gaon. Famed for his journeys and travels. Among Tzaddikim, it is known that studying his Seforim is most capable of Yiras Shamayim and Kirvas Elokim.
Wear to binding, ancient semi-leather binding, incomplete copy, aging stains, the last leaf of this copy is glued to the flyleaf, fair-good condition.
