Pedigreed copy! The Zohar HaKadosh which was studied by the Holy Rabbi Maran the Gabd Rabbi Moshe Aryeh Freund the Rav and glory of Jerusalem. Chernowitz, 1852.

Appearing among the leaves of the book are the stamps of the Gabd from the early days of in Jerusalem, when he was Moreh Tzeddek on behalf of the Edah HaChareidis, later stamps from when he was the leader of the Edah Chareidis and an extremely rare stamp from when he was a Rav in Satmar. "משה ארי’ פריינד דומו"ץ דק"ק סאטמאר יע"א".

The Gaon Maran the Holy Rabbi Moshe Aryeh Freund (1903-199). One of the greatest Poskim and Gabd of the Edah HaChareidis of Jerusalem. Many, inlcuding the Tzaddikim of the generation, asked for his blessings. Was born in Honiad to his father Rabbi Yisroel the son of the Holy Gaon Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua of Nasoid. Already in his youth he was appointed to serve as the Rav of Nasoid and Ragna. He also served as Dayan and Moreh Tzeddek in Satmar. After the terrible destruction, he immigrated to Israel and settled in Jerusalem, teaching Torah at the Yitav Lev Yeshiva of Satmar in Jerusalem. After the passing of the Holy Rabbi author of Divrei Yoel, he was appointed Rabd of the Edah HaChareidis. With the passing of the auhtor of the Minchas Yitzchak he was appointed Gabd. Authored the books Ateres Yehoshua on the Torah.
