Without the Portuguese leaves: In the Bibliography, an additional leaf at the beginning of section II and the beginning of section III is noted that as well as leaves 72-74 of section III which do not appear in all copies and do not appear in this one. 

Rabbi Michl Shayer [passed away in 1810], Rosh Yshiva in Mainz and later Av Beis Din of Worms, Manheim and Kovlantz. His renowned Gaon Father, Rabbi Teivli Shayer, a disciple of Rabbi Yaakov Poppers Katz author of the Shav Yaakovm served as a Dayan in Frankfurt in the time of the author of the Pnei Yehoshua and was a Rav in Bamberg and Rav and Rosh Yeshiva in Mainz. 
Rabbeinu the Chasam Sofer, being a thirteen-year-old Iluy in Frankfurt, moved, by the advice of the Rav the Gaon Rabbi Nosson Adler, to study at the yeshiva of Rabbi Michl Shayer in Mainz. He studied there for two years until his father’s passing and then returned to Frankfurt. The Chasam Sofer eulogized Rabbi Michl Shayer (in a Drush for the seventh of Teves 1810). 

New, elegant leather binding, stains, blemish to the margins of the last leaf not affecting the text. Leaves 1-2 of section IV are bound not in their correct order, good-very good condition.
