Royal dishes! Porcelain and silver plates, a silver spoon and a saucer that were used by the holy Rav Rabbi Yisroel of Boyan-Leipzig.
Dishes from the estate of the renowned holy Rav of Boyan Leipzig, some of which he inherited from his ancestral home of Ruzhin Sadigura and were bequeathed to his daughter the Rebbetzin Mrs. Gittel.
Impressive set of dishes, as befits royalty, for drinking coffee or tea, including a large silver-plated porcelain pot and a smaller table pot also made of silver-plated porcelain. Both pots have handles and a nozzle. The smaller pot has a matching lid.
Five medium-sized plates with silver-plated edges.
A small plate, which was restored with glue, with slight lack; it too is mostly silver-plated.
A silver spoon with an engraving of the letter ‘F’ – the emblem of the Friedman family.
The holy Rav Rabbi Yisroel of Boyan – Leipzig [1788-1941] the son of the Pachad Yitzchak of Boyan and the grandson of the holy Rav Rabbi Avraham Yaakov of Sadigura. His mother was the daughter of the holy Rav Rabbi Yochanan of Rachmastrivka. Although he was sick most of his life, his light shone on his surroundings. For several years he was the one who lit the fire at the gravesite of Rashbi. Was buried in Safed.
