Letter by the holy Rav the Knesses Mordechai of Sadigura to the president of Mo’etzes Gedolei HaTorah the Gaon Rabbi Zalman Sorotzkin on a private matter. Nissan, 1958.
The letter, which begins with titles of honor to the Gaon Rabbi Zalman Sorotzkin, the manager of Va’ad HaYeshivos, a great Jewish leader, one of the founders of independent education and president of Mo’etzes Gedolei HaTorah, contains a request for the address of a rabbi who had moved to Leipzig and then to Manchester, England. The letter ends as follows: "And by this I am his friend, asking after him and his Torah with deep affection, looking for Heaven’s mercy’
The letter is written by a scribe, apparently the important Rav Rabbi Modechai David Rachman and hand-signed by the Rebbe.

The Holy Moron Rabbi Mordechai Shalom Yosef of Sadigura (1896-1979), author of ‘Knesset Mordechai’ from great admorim of his generation and important leader of the Jews in the previous generation. Son of the Holy Rabbi Aharon son of the Holy Rabbi Yisrael of Sadigura. Was appointed at a young age as Admor, and at the age of 32 he became a member of Moetzet Gedolai HaTorah of which he was the youngest of the group. Appointed as president of the Keren HaTorah of Agudat Yisrael and was among the leaders of the movement. Established a Yeshiva for hundreds of youths in Przemyśl, was a partner in the establishment of many organizations in Israel for Torah, the ‘Chinuch Ha’Atzmai’, ‘Beit Yaakov’ and a network of Torah classes. The Sadigura courtyard expanded in his days, and developed in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Bnei Brak, and more places.
