ועשית בגדי קודש לאהרן לכבוד ולתפארת! White Kittel that was made from remnants of clothes that had belonged to Maran Rabbi Aharon Kadisha of Belz, with which he did his pure Avodah.

White Kittel that was sewn combining remnants of fabric from the Vestil of  Maran the holy Rav of Belz, including the marks of the typical and special stripes of the Vestil, on which a fine silver collar integrated with pieces from the collar of Maran, and on its front, remnants of the Feltz, the ‘winter fur’ which he wore during the winter.

Pieces of fabric from the pants of the holy Rav Rabbi Aharon of Belz were integrated into the belt, the Gartil.

These remnants of the Feltz came from the holy Rav Rabbi Itzikel of Pshevorsk who inherited them from the holy Rav of Belz and kept them as a Segulah and protection.

The garment came from his confidante the Chassid Rabbi Moshe Tuviya Greenzeig, who was a Meshamesh of Maran of Belz. Confirmation is enclosed.

The importance and virtue of garments used by Tzaddikim are well-known. Chassidim used to search for clothes worn by Tzaddikim, and especially the disciples of the holy Ba’al Shem Tov and his followers.

There were Tzaddikim who used to give their old clothes to their disciples. The holy Rav of Belz adopted the custom as well and used to give his Meshamshim pieces of his clothing such as the Kapota, Bekishe or Kaften.

Already the Talmud and the Rishonim noted the importance of garments of Tzaddikim. For example, ‘Bigdei Kehuna Mechaprim’ and suchlike in Midrash Rabba Shir HaShirim: In the Beis Midrash of Rabbi Eliezer there was a special stone on which he sat. Once, Rabbi Yehoshua entered and started kissing that stone, saying: "This stone is similar to Mount Sinai and he who sat on it is like the Ark of the Covenant".

Fine white Kittel with buttons, a belt and silver collar. Combined with pieces of fabric from the clothes of the holy Rav of Belz. Very good condition.
