The personal copy of the Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Zvi Waldman of Barsha, one of the greatest disciples of Marana the Divrei Chaim of Sanz, his son Rabbi Yisroel Shimon who was the the son-in-law of the son of Maran the Bnei Yissachar of Dinov and grandson of the Tzaddikim of Lublin and Ziditchov. And his son the Tzaddik Rav Rabbi Avraham Elimelech Waldman of Berdejov, the son-in-law of the Tzaddik Rav Rabbi Meshulam Zusha Frankel of Belz, Opatow and Lizhensk.
On the flyleaf, lengthy glosses handwritten by Rabbi Yaakov Zvi Hirsch. Many Signatures and his stamps. Stamps of his descendants.

The Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Zvi Hirsch Waldman the Rav of Barsha, author of Zvi Tifara and Zvi VeChamid. A great Gaon in Torah and Yirah. Was a leading disciple of Marana of Sanz, adopting his customs and Chumros. The signing of his Tena’im took place at the holy Rav Rabbi Asher of Ropshitz and the Shetar Tena’im was signed by Marana of Sanz and the holy Rav Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Glagov.
