Goral HaMasa’os which appears in this manuscript is attributed to Rabbi Avraham Chamawi, who introduced it in his Sefer Abi’ah Chidos (Livorno, 1879). In his Sefer Nifla’im Ma’asecha, he explained that his intention in publishing the Goralos was to prevent Jews from going to gentile magicians for forbidden fortune-telling. Authored additional Seforim on Segulos and Goralos. About Rabbi Chamawi, see the dissertation of Nissim Chamawi "Rabbi Avraham Chamawi (1838-1886) and His Place in Modern Jewish Magic" (Hebrew) (Tel Aviv University, 2014).
The influence of Sefer Raziel HaMalach on the content of this booklet is noticeable.
Front jacket binding is missing. Stains, some moth damage, folds to the corners of some of the leaves, incomplete copy, fair-good condition.
