Collection of letters by rabbis, members of Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah and Rashei Yeshivas, on varied matters.
* Rare and important letter from 1995 by the Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Binyomin Yehoshua Zilber, author of Az Nidveru also known as Rabbi Binyomin HaTzaddik.
The letter deals with a sensitive matter, the attitude of Agudas Yisroel to the return of areas and the peace agreements of 1993-1996 known as The Oslo Accords.
Between the lines, Rabbi Binyomin writes to the members of Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah that the struggle against returning areas to the Arab enemy should be refined and emphasized yet simultaneously it should also be emphasized that the settlements beyond the Green Line are part of Zionism against which all Gedolei Yisroel, the founders of Agudas Yisroel, and their successors had fought.
The letter is hand-signed by him.
* A letter without the date, from ca. 1970s, handwritten by teh Gaon Rabbi Yosef Asler Av Beis Din of Torda, a member of Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah and one of the greatest rabbis of his generation. In the letter, he blesses an author of a Sefer that he merit publishing it soonץ
* A letter from 1959 by the Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Yaakov Vechtfoigel, the Rosh Yeshiva of Meah Shearim and chairman of the neighborhood committee to the Mayor of Jerusalem. In the letter he complains about the municipality forcing the neighborhood to connect to a sewage line of other neighborhoods and bear its cost.
The letter provides a peek into the daily life and difficult conditions at the Meah Shearim neighborhood in those days.
* Letter in Yiddish by the Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Yaakov Vechtfoigel from ca. 1960 with a request to assist an important bridegroom of an important family of Karlin. After a lengthy letter in Yiddish by the father of the family, Rabbi Vechtfoigel added several lines. Aerogram.
