The personal copy of the Gaon Rabbi Eliezer Auerbach the son of the Gaon Kabbalist Rabbi Chaim Leib Auerbach. Like his father, he was one of the heads of the Sha’ar HaShamayim Yeshiva of Kabbalists. Passed away in his prime, leaving a branched family. His brother was the Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach.
The famed Auerbach family, whose descendants were Talmidei Chachamim, Tzaddikim and Geonim, descended from Rabbi Avraham Dov Auerbach, the son-in-law of the holy Rav the author of the Toldos Yaakov Yosef of Polonne and a disciple of the Besht. The Besht said of Rabbi Avraham Dov that he studies Torah Lishmah and offered him the Shiduch with the daughter of the Toldos.
Blemished, dismantled binding. Stains, moth holes, the last leaf is detached, fair condition.
