The Holy Gaon Rabbi Moshe Greenwald author of "Arugaa HaBosem" [1853-1910], one of the Greatest rabbis and Poskim of Hungary. The leading disciple of Maran the Ketav Sofer of Pressburg and the disciple of the leading disciples of the Chasam Sofer the Holy Gaon Rabbi Menachem Katz and his grandfather Rabbi Yosef Greenwald. From his youth he became tied to Chassidus and used to travel to the Admorim of Belz and Shinawa. He was the Ravof the Homna and Kleinwardein communities until he became the Rav and leader of Chust, where the greatest rabbis of Hungary headed by the Maharam Schick lived. In his days, the Chust Yeshiva became the largest and most important yeshiva in Hungary with students from all over the world, even the USA, coming to study Torah and Yirah from its great Rabbi.
