Collection of letters, on Kashrus matters and other matters by the great Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Landau the Rav of Bnei Berak for dozens of years.
Four letters of the official stationery of the great Gaon Rabbi Yaakov landau, dealing with a variety of issues concerning his rabbinate in Bnei Berak.
In one of the letters, Rabbi Landau complains to the municipality about not authorizing an additional Mashgi’ach Kashrus despite its intention to increases the number of butcher shops in Bnei Berak. In another letter, he asks a public activist to act for the release of a man who was arrested for traffic offenses and might spend Passover in prison. An additional letter is a recommendation for an aid institution for the needy and another is a Mazel Tov blessing for a Bar Mitzvah boy of the Hirschowitz family.
The Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Landau the Rav of Bnei Berak, one of the Poskei Halacha of his generation. One of the greatest and most important Chabad Lubavitch Chassidim. A modest and humble man yet firm and uncompromising in the war of Kashrus and leadership.
