‘He who blesses them that he celebrate Passover happily …" Letter on charity matters with an addition of wonderful blessings by Maran the holy Gaon Rabbi Moshe Aryeh Freund. 1981. 

In the letter, Maran the Gaon Rabbi Moshe Aryeh Freund requests assistance with charity for a man who married an orphaned bride, describing in detail the expenses. 

He blesses that ‘by the merit of this Mitzvah may you be blessed with an abundance of blessing and success…’. 

Maran Rabbi Freund added by hand to the typewritten letter ‘their friend who blesses them that he celebrate Passover happily… Moshe Aryeh Freund’ with his important stamp ‘Rosh Av Beis Din of all Ashkenazic communities and Ram of Yitav lev of Satmar in Jerusalem’.   

The great Gaon Rabbi Moshe Aryeh Freund (1903-199). One of the greatest Poskim and Gaon Av Beis Din of the Edah HaChareidis of Jerusalem. Many, including the Tzaddikim of the generation, asked for his blessings, which were always fulfilled.

Was born in Honiad to his father Rabbi Yisroel the son of the Holy Gaon Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua of Nasoid. Already in his youth he was appointed to serve as the Rav of Nasoid and Ragna. He also served as Dayan and Moreh Tzeddek in Satmar. After the terrible destruction, he immigrated to Israel and settled in Jerusalem, teaching Torah at the Yitav Lev Yeshiva of Satmar in Jerusalem. After the passing of the Holy Rav of Satmar author of the Divrei Yoel, he was appointed Rosh Av Beis Din of the Edah HaChareidis. With the passing of the author of the Minchas Yitzchak he was appointed Gaon Av Beis Din.
