‘May the charity be accepted as a sacrifice of Olos and incense… wealth and respect and Kol Tuv Selah’. A letter with blessings for mercy and salvation, hand-signed by the holy Rav Rabbi Shimon Nosson Nota [The First] of Lelov, Jerusalem, 1914.
The letter was sent to the donors and friends who had sent this Tzaddik, lover of Yisroel, large amounts of money to pray for them beside the Western Wall and the holy sites of Jerusalem and Hebron. The letter contains a ‘receipt letter’ printed mostly in Yiddish and warm blessings for good health and salvation by Rabbi Shimon Nosson Nota of Lelov, the son of the renowned holy Rav Rabbi David Zvi Shlomo ‘Rabbi David’l’ of Lelov.
With the handwritten signature of the holy Rav Rabbi Shimon Nosson Nota. Without the addressee’s name.
12X9 cm. Illustrations of the holy places. The signature is in strong, clear ink. A small tear to the wide margins. Very good condition.
