[4], 57 leaves, 18 cm. Owner’s signature "Alexander Zusskind Blitz" and a dedication by Avraham Sadodros.
Rabbi Alexander Zusskind Blitz ben Rabbi Zvi Hirsch – in 1826 he immigrated to Jerusalem from Amsterdam and in a census conducted by Montefiore was listed as a member of Kollel Hod. In Cheshvan 1833, he was banned by the residents of Jerusalem for relating information about the happenings in the city to Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Lehrn, the head of the Organization of Officials and Administrators of Amsterdam. in response, Lehrn conducted a ‘Curse-removal’ ceremony before ten Talmidei Chachamim in Holland.
Worn, dismantled leather binding, detached title page, stains, fair condition.
