[2], 34 leaves, 21 cm. Bluish paper. On leaf 26 page 1 there is an old handwritten gloss.
Rabbi Naftali Hirtz ben Rabbi Nosson Klatzkin (1822-1894) was born in Dvinsk. In his youth studied at the yeshiva of Rabbi Moshe Zvi Heilperin in Minsk and Rabbi Mordechai Meltzer in Vilna. For three years he studied with the Chasam Sofer in Pressburg and for seven years with the Maharil Betlen Av Beis Din of Dvinsk. Became close to the Admor of Chabad author of the Tzemach Tzeddek. For seven years, he was the Rav of Oshpal, Lithuania and for thirty seven, the Rav of Shimburg. A Gedol Torah and Hora’ah and wonderful Darshan. After his passing, his innovations were printed in Shut Ayala Shlucha (Warsaw, 1897 and 1912).
