This trcatate is the first of an edition of the Yerushalmi Talmud which was published in two volumes. The other tractates of volume I do not appear in this volume. To some of the other tractates of this edition, Hagahos Maharam Dilonza and Hagahos Rabbeinu HaChida were added for the first time. Printed after the Amsterdam 1755 edition.

On the flyleaf, a handwritten copying, [73] lines, on Megilas Esther, from the commentary by Rabbi Avraham Helin, Zrah Avraham, on Midrash Rabba. Owner’s signatures on the flyleaf and title page: "Nathanel", "Yaakov Drohbard" and "Yehuda Leib Graubart". Owner’s stamp in a foreign language of Rabbi Yosef Chaim Rachygot of Szrensk, Poland, the son-in-law of Rabbi Yaakov Graubart. With stamps dedicating the Sefer from the library of Rabbi Raphael David Saban, the Chacham Bashi and Chief Rabbi of Turkey.

Rabbi Yehuda Leib Graubart (1861-1937), ben Rabbi Binyomin ben Rabbi Yaakov. Av Beis Din of Yanova, Makov and Stashov in Poland. Headed the conference of rabbis in Warsaw in 1909. Immigrated to the USA in 1920 and was Av Beis Din of Tornado, Canada. Author of Shut Chavalim BaNei’imim (1901, Sefer Zikaron (1926), Yamin USmol (1930), Devarim Kichtavam (1932) and Yabi’ah Omer (1936). His brother, Rabbi Yissachar Berish, the Rav of Bendin and author of Shut Divrei Yissachar was a disciple of Rabbi Yehoshua Tronk of Kotno author of Yeshu’os Malko.

Worn, semi-leather binding, tears and blemishes to the flyleaf, stains, some moth damage, several of the first leaves are detached in their lower part, fair-good condition.
