Sefer Emek Halacha, Chidushei Dinim on Orach Chaim and Yoreh Deah in the format of a Sefer Shut. Menachem Mann and Simcha Ziman Press, Vilna, [1845]. First edition. 

[2], 26, 21 [i.e. 22], 67 [i.e. 18], [1] leaves. 38 cm. Owner’s stamp and signature "Gershon Fischman" on the title page, stamps and varied notations on the flyleaf, including words of praise on the author of the Sefer. With approbations by the rabbis of Karlin, Brisk, Lublin, Danburg, Lida and Novhardok. 

Rabbi Ze’ev Wolf ben Yehuda Halevi – "the great Rav sharp and knowledgeable in Shas and Poskim", author of Sefer Emek Halacha. During the years 1840-1855, was the Rav of Zhetel (Grodno district). Passed away in Zabludovo (Bialystok district) in 1859. 

Worn, semi-leather binding, moth damage, stains, fair-good condition.
