Signature and stamp of Rabbi Mencham Waldman on Sefer Kedushas Yom Tov, I-II, on the Torah and Kedusha Shniya, by the holy Rav Rabbi Chananya Yom Tov Lipa Teitelbaum. Avraham Kaufman Press, Siget, 1905.
[2], 137; 64, [1] leaves. 25 cm. The last leaf was missing and was completed by hand. Handwritten comment on section II leaf 63, 2. With the handwritten signature and stamp of Rabbi Naftali Menachem Waldman.
The holy Rav Rabbi Chananya Yom Tov Lipa Teitelbaum (1836-1904) Admor and Av Beis Din of Siget, author of Kedushas Yom Tov, the son and successor of Rabbi Yekutiel Yehuda Teitelbaum author of the Yitav Lev. The Kedushas Yom Tov was one of the leading disciples of the Divrei Chaim of Sanz, Admor of thousands of Chassidim and one of the greatest zealots who objected to Zionism. Was the father of the holy brothers the holy Rav Rabbi Chaim Zvi Teitelbaum of Siget, the author of the Atzei Chaim and Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum, the VaYoel Moshe of Satmar.
The Rav Naftali Menachem Waldman the son of Rosh Av Beis Din of Warsaw, Rabbi Moshe Azriel Waldman, and the son-in-law of Rabbi Uziel Bodner (Meislish) author of Sefer Ben Uziel, Domatz of Bistritz. Rabbi Naftali Menachem was Domatz of Beklan and since 1932 Dayan and Moreh Tzeddek of Bistritz and the Rav of the Vizhnitz community there. The Rav perished in Aueschwitz in Sivan 1944.
Semi-leather binding, the last leaf is missing and was completed by hand, stains, tears, minor blemishes and gluing to the title page and some of the first leaves, fair-good condition.
