Lengthy essay handwritten entirely by the great Gaon Rabbi Yosef Sholom Elyoshiv, words of outlook and Mussar, revival and Drush for Rosh Hashana and Hamlachas HaBoreh. Enclosed is a rabbinate docuemtn of Rav Elyoshiv.
Lengthy essay, apparently a draft of a speech Maran the Posek Rabbi Yosef Sholom Elyoshiv had delivered at his Beis Midrash for Rosh Hashana in the 1950s. Two pages filled with Mussar and words of admonishment, citing the greatest Tzaddikim of previous generations.
Among others, rabbi Elyoshiv writes about the verse ‘Achas Sha’alti Me’es hashem Otah Avakesh’ which is the only requests that depends on man and not on G-d.
Some of the leaf was blackened by Rabbi Elyoshiv himself, who apparently wished to correct what was written there.
Enclosed with this important leaf is an interesting historical document: confirmation and permit issued by the religious council of Jerusalem, 1951, for Rabbi Elyoshiv to be the Measder Chupah and Kiddushin of a couple from Jerusalem who were married in Shevas 1951.
[2] documents of varied sizes and conditions. Very good general condition.
