Signatures of the Rashei Yeshivas Brisk Maran the Gaon Rabbi Yosef Dov Soloveitchik, the eldest son of Maran the Rav of Brisk, and his son and successor the great Gaon Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Soloveitchik.
Receipt for a donation of a philanthropist to the yeshiva with the stamp of the yeshiva and the signature of the Rosh Yeshiva the great Gaon Rabbi Yosef Dov [Ber] Soloveitchik, the eldest son and successor as Rosh Yeshiva of Maran the Rav of Brisk.
The receipt is one of the first receipts that were signed by Maran Rabbi Yosef Dov after the passing of his great father Maran the Rav of Brisk. Bearing the date Kislev 1959, approx. three months after the passing of Maran the Rav of Brisk.
An additional item in the collection is a list of students who need their enlistment postponed, with the handwritten signature of Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Soloveitchik, the Rosh Yeshiva. A total of six leaves and six varied signatures of the Rosh Yeshiva.
6 leaves of lists of students and an original receipt. Very good condition.
