Collection of varied letters, on pyblic matters and charity, handwritten by the Rashei Yeshiva of Hebron and signed by the great Geonim Rabbi Moshe Chevroni, Rabbi Meir Chadash and Rabbi Simcha Zissel Broide.
* ‘That the two of us worship joyfully Avodas HaMitzvah‘. Fascinating and early letter handwritten by the Gaon Rabbi Moshe Chevroni to the Gaon Rabbi Hillel Medalye, apparently when he was raising funds in the USA for the holy yeshiva. Not dated. presumably the 1930s.
* Tishrei 1975. Letter handwritten by Rabbi Moshe Chevroni the Rosh Yeshiva, on his stationery, with a request for charity and a loan for one of the excelling students of the yeshiva. At the end of the letter, the Rosh Yeshiva blesses those who assist in this matter with ‘Gmar Chatimah Tova, a year of life, peace, blessing and succeed and great Naches’.
* Iyar 1974. An additional letter handwritten by Rabbi Moshe Chevroni and with his signature for a loan for an excelling student of the Hebron yeshiva.
* The eve of Rosh Hashana 1976. A printed greeting card for the New Year sent by the Rosh Yeshiva of Hebron Rabbi Simcha Zissel Broide, with an addition of blessings handwritten and signed by him.
* Teves 1964. A letter by the Gaon Rabbi Meir Chadash, the Mashgi’ach of the Hebron Yeshiva, on the official stationery of the yeshiva. An invitation to an important conference.
* The letter of response of the important activist Rabbi Menachem Porush to the above invitation.
[6] letters. Size and condition vary. Stains and creases. Very good general condition.
