The Ohel Torah Beis Midrash for Talmud in Jerusalem – was founded in 1930 by Rabbi Isser Zalman Meltzer and Rabbi Moshe Mordechai Epstein and was one of the first contemporary Kollelim for Avrechim in Eretz Yisroel. The curriculum included regular lessons on Choshen Mishpas and Even HaEzer. Excelling Avrechim who were proficient in Shas and Poskim were accepted to the Kollel and many of them eventually became famed rabbis and Gedelei Torah including Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach, Rabbi Yosef Sholom Elyashiv, Rabbi Shmuel Halevi Wosner and many others.
Rabbi Abba Yaakov Hacohen Borochov (1846-1936) Rav of Volkovisk, Plock and additional towns in Lithuania. Immigrated to Eretz Yisroel in 1923. Author of Shut Chevel Yaakov, a member of the Council of Torah and Science Scholars of the Harry Fischel Institute for Talmud.
XIV, 91 leaves, 8 pp. 22 cm. With stamps of the Ohel Torah Beis Midrash and of Rabbi Abba Yaakov Hacohen Borochov and with an ownership notation of Rabbi Yisroel Yitzchak Rasin.
