Sefer Hamikneh by the Gaon Rabbi Eliezer Zussman Sofer of Paks. Section III. First edition. The copy of the holy Rav the Knesses Yechezkel of Deyzh with a gloss handwritten by him.
The third of the three sections of Sefer Hamikneh authored by the Gaon of Paks. A copy signed by the holy Rav Rabbi Yechezkel Panet of Deyzh author of the Knesses Yechezkel. On the flyleaf, an ownership notation handwritten by him in pencil. On the title page, his personal stamp. On the Sugya of ערב וקנין, a comment handwritten by him in pencil.
The Holy Rabbi Yechezkel Panet Av Beis Din and Admor of Deyzh (1870-1930) one of the great Tzaddikim of Transylvania. The son of the holy Rav Rabbi Moshe Panet and the grandson the Holy Rav the Admor Rabbi Yechezkel the Mareh Yechezkel of Deyzh. One of the greatest Admorim of his time. Was a renowned Gaon, Tzaddik and wonder-worker. Sometimes, he used to seclude himself for eighteen straight hours, studying Torah in the Nigleh and Nistar.
The Gaon Rabbi Eliezer Zussman Sofer Av Beis Din of Paks (1825-1903), a holy Tzaddik, one of the greatest rabbis of Hungary. A disciple of Maran the Chasam Sofer, the Kesav Sofer and the Maharm Schick. The son-in-law and successor of the Gaon Rabbi Yoel Unger Av Beis Din of Paks.
8 pp. 127 leaves. Dark, slightly brittle leaves. Stains. Original semi-leather binding, worn. Good-very good condition.
