Letter by the Tomchei Temimim Yeshiva – the 12th of Shevas 1939, Otwock.
In the letter, the Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Yehuda Eber thanks the chairman of Va’ad Hayeshivas of Chicago for its support of his yeshiva: ‘In this terrible, stressed time, your considerable support is truly delighting‘.
Rabbi Yehuda Eber [1901-1941] Rosh Yeshiva and Mashgiach of the Tomchei Temimim yeshivas of Belarus and later in Warsaw and Otwock and was also responsible for the Lubavitch yeshivas of Poland which were established by the Rebbe Rayatz. perished in Kislev 1941.
