Dollar given by the Lubavitcher Rebbe at his house – 770 in New York, to be given in the Holy Land as money for ‘Shli’ach Mitzvah’. On it, its receiver wrote ‘to be distributed at the Beis Midrash back home G-d willing safe and sound Amen’.
The inscription indicates that this was the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s blessing when he gave the dollar for the Shli’ach Mitzvah and it seems that he explained its purpose to the receiver and blessed him.
